gianangeli history
At the end of the 90's the progressive growth of Made in Italy productionÕs costs pushed the management to reorganize the firm focusing on quality at its best, craftsmanship, and stylistic research and choosing cashmere as the main worked yarn.
This repositioning came up with the acquisition of Matilde that currently is the company's premium cashmere brand.
Gianangeli S.r.l. has always been owned by the family and was born back in 1945 as production unit for Luisa Spagnoli.
At the end of the 60's the company launched its own first collection in collaboration with Gianfranco Ferr.
Those years ratified a remarkable growth of the company's management especially in stylistic and technical fields.
At the end of this collaboration and till the beginning of the 90's the firm had produced knitwear collections of different brands and had acquired other companies and production structures.
